Sexual Violence Accountability Measures (SVAM)

The SVAM is an original dataset that narrowly focuses on justice mechanisms for wartime sexual violence and that comprehensively documents justice mechanisms spanning from judicial (criminal) accountability to legislative accountability. The current version of SVAM documents domestic accountability for wartime sexual violence in African countries that experienced intrastate conflicts and internationalized intrastate conflicts between 1998 and 2018.

Global dataset is currently being collected and expected to be ready Fall 2024.
